Medicaid and private insurance has changed many times over the past several months regarding it's coverage of weighted blankets. DreamCatcher Weighted Blankets is a registered direct Medicaid provider in most states.
Medical Supply companies in ALL states will process medical claims for weighted therapy items including blankets as long as they process DME (Durable Medical Equipment) claims. Anyone, in any state, that is in need of a weighted blanket and has either private insurance or Medicaid can do so through their local medical supply company. Please contact us to start that process.
