Hello Eileen, I ordered and sent the fabric choices as a note but will include them here too. I knew he would love these. We have been taking his lap blanket back and forth to school every day--he insists on sleeping with it at night, even though his feet hang out the end:) We forgot it at home this morning, so I had to bring him home and get it AND go back through carpool! So I'm going ahead and ordering his -- I believe his brothers (4 total) want one as well! I'll let them try his out as well to make sure. Our teacher friend who was helping in the carpool line grabbed his bag and asked what was in there, as soon as he saw it and held it, he said it felt like peace in a bag:) I'm forwarding your info to him too:) My husband and I decided you should call the blankets ADD testers to be more specific:) It's hilarious to see how the afflicted's facial expressions change when they pick up the blanket and feel it! Hello Eileen, I don't know if you remember me, but you made me a gorgeous blue blanket this past summer to help keep me calm when I went away to the university and lived on my own for the first time ever.

My first semester was extremely rough (especially since my husband got in a serious auto accident and nearly lost his life the week before school started). Against nearly insurmountable odds, I was able to stay in school. The security of sleeping under that blanket was one of the major things that helped me hang on.

The next semester starts Jan. 11. Hubby is doing much better but still not nearly 100% (although it's still pretty awesome considering that it's a miracle he survived that crash in the first place). I am scared to go back to school, as I still haven't recovered from all the trauma of last semester, but once again, I will have the blanket to crawl under at my apartment whenever I need it. We were thrilled to receive our weighted blanket yesterday afternoon. My son who has sensory processing disorder immediately pulled it over himself and was beaming from ear to ear as he laid on the floor. Last night he peacefully fell right asleep under the blanket, instead of tossing and turning, pulling heavy quilts on top of him to get the proprioception he needed then tossing them off because he was getting too hot and on and on. Not only did he fall right to sleep, but he also slept through the night, which is a rarity. This morning, for the first time in his little life, he woke up RESTED!! He is cheerful and bright eyed, thanks to your beautifully made blanket. He drug it out of bed with him this morning and carried it wrapped around him, enjoying the comfort. I just wanted to tell (belatedly) how truly grateful I am for the weighted blanket I ordered and received from you. It so far surpassed my expectations that I couldn't believe my eyes when I took it out of the box. For the price, I was actually able to choose a custom fabric with a theme that matches my own personality (which adds to the comfort for me) and then to have the perfect size and a nice heavy weight with the cotton fabric I wanted just made it perfect. Hello, I wanted to take a moment to tell you thanks for the wonderful "Cars" weighted blanket I recently purchased. Our son has SPD and has NEVER slept through the night. He is now almost 4 and the lack of sleep has taken its toll on the entire family. The same night I got the blanket, he slept so much better, I nearly cried in relief. Now he is sleeping almost every night through and it is 100% because of the blanket. He calls it his "beautiful blanket" and says it's like someone is hugging him when he sleeps. Plus, having the "Cars" design makes it extra special - "Cars" is his very favorite! I was thrilled with the high quality and workmanship of our DreamCatcher blanket, too. When I first searched eBay, I was dismayed to see cheap blankets being sold filled with aquarium rocks - how can that be safe or even remotely comfortable? The price of other well-made, similar sized weighted blankets I'd found was in the hundreds of dollars, but I spent about $70 including shipping for yours. It is the best $70 I've ever spent. I have had my blanket now for 5 years and it's still as good as new and has been washed several times, at least once or twice a month! I have seen other weighted blankets and they just don't even come close. I have sensory issues and had always had trouble falling asleep. Someone on my online support group recommended I try a weighted blanket and told me of your website. I love my blanket, and use it to sleep every night and to snuggle in while watching movies, working on the computer, etc! My son was diagnosed with Autism last summer and since then we have been on a journey to find comforting and soothing items to calm his sensory integration issues. Around Christmas of 2008 I purchased a weighted blanket from you that has a beautiful picture of Thomas the train, which is my son's favorite thing on earth. Hi! I recently purchased one of your weighted blankets (a 15 lb. one) and LOVE it! I was abused as a child and, as a result, struggle with insomnia. I do not feel "safe" enough to sleep unless I feel the weight of a blanket on me. I have spent most of my life piling blankets on top of myself to feel "safe," only to overheat.

We got our weighted blanket (fishing theme) this week, and my son (sensory processing disorder [tactile defensive and vestibular/proprioceptive seeking], ADHD, dysgraphia, and general anxiety disorder diagnosis) LOVES it. We�ve already taken it in to show his kindergarten teacher and his occupational therapist. He wraps in it, rolls on it, snuggles in it, and fell asleep quickly and peacefully last night under it. I cannot say enough about the weighted blanket you created for our 3 year old daughter. For one, it is one of the cutest blankets I've ever seen--purple w/ Princess sparkly fabric on one side. Perfect for any little girl!! From the first night, our daughter has WANTED the blanket on her. With her sensory issues, she generally refuses a blanket, even on the coldest of winter nights. I think she fell in love with its appearance, and then when we placed it on her, she loved the input it gave her. We have even seen some improvement in her sleep at night, which we will be forever grateful to you! I have told everyone I know about your company, and really can't speak enough about it!

We also have a Thomas lap pad, and that too is just terrific! We've really seen it help our daughter sit for longer periods of time, and it's been great for the car. We will surely be back to order more

I am not sure how long it has been since we have had our weighted blanket (maybe a month) and I think it is safe to say that it has been my best purchase for my son's wellness. I have not had one
complaint about sleeping since the first day he used it. I can't tell you what a blessing it is not have him complaining that his legs and arms were fidgety and that he just could not sleep and be

What a fascinating idea! Weighted blankets! When I was pregnant, I had RLS
(restless leg syndrome) very awfully, and nothing calmed it, though magnesium, calcium and potassium helped a little. But what helped most was to lay a heavy weight across my legs. I used a quilt, folded repeatedly. If I'd known about your blankets, I'd have jumped on them instantly!

We got the blanket just before Christmas, and Gabriel LOVES it. He calls it his heavy bug blanket, and he loves curling up under it. We�ve noticed he�s having an easier time getting to sleep at night when he has it on, and he hasn�t been waking up in the middle of the night like he used to. We also put it on him when he watches TV, and it actually calms him down. He used to fidget and move a lot while watching TV and it would hype him up. year old loves to snuggle in the Van Gogh as she is an artist and the
toddler loves to snuggle in the ponies!

Our son has Tourette's Plus and we recently received the wonderful blanket you made him. All we can say is THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU...!! He loves it and has had the best night's sleep and two good days at school following each night! He was so happy he cried. He loves it and it helps so much and for that we are forever greatful to you!

"I love the blanket and so does my son!! I love snuggling under it with him. It helps me sleep better too. I like the weight on me and it really knocks me out!! It's a beautiful blanket and it feels so nice. My son had only tried a weighted vest once or twice in school, but he's older now and seems to really respond better to the all-over pressure. She loooooves it. I mean LOVES it. I cannot thank you enough, it's perfect
for her. She is sleeping soundly under it right now. My daughter is bipolar and has a million
sensory issues. I can't tell you what a calming effect the blanket had. I didn't even get much of a chance to look it over, she took it and went straight to bed without even dinner. She's been getting about half her regular amount of sleep for about 3 weeks straight now and the blanket arrived not a moment too soon! THANK YOU! T. 01-31-06
